After we released the Bruin, I wanted something to fill the gap in our lineup. With input
from our “friends in the know,” the Cub was born! Its blade is small and agile, and it
packs a punch like a feisty little bear! The compact 2.75-inch blade paired with a full-
sized 4.25-inch no-slip G10 or Micarta handle provides exceptional control. Choose a
Saber grind for overall strength and versatility or a Scandi grind for carving and
bushcraft tasks. We got you covered with two stainless steel options. And if you're
looking for a tough blade that maintains its sharpness, CPM 3V is the way to go! The
Cub has a handsome Badger Claw leather sheath featuring a DCC clip for convenient
pocket carry.

I recently purchased the Cub and I am well pleased. Fit and finish of the knife is fantastic. The same can be said for the leather sheath supplied with the knife. The knife ergonomics are spot on for my hands. I believe it is a very capable package and I’m glad I purchased it.
This thing packs a punch for its size. I have big hands and this knife fits perfectly, and feels great. KBN makes some of the best looking knives around. The cub is one of my EDC knives along with the wicket, wicket xl and soon wicket xl primitive. My all time favorite knives and knife maker.

Absolutely just what i thought it would be never leaves my pocket A little disappointed i couldn't get the kydex sheath but hopefully i can pick one up when they drop again thank you for making such Great products
An incredibly well made and beautiful piece of kit. I held back purchasing, but glad I finally pulled the trigger. A note on the size: this is a very small knife. I know everyone with eyes can read the specs, but it's hard to appreciate the scale until it's in hand. This is a 3-finger knife, so as long as expectations are calibrated accordingly, you will not be even slightly disappointed (I have medium-size hands, and adding a small paracord lanyard added to the maneuverability and sheath-removal).

I love the Chickpea. Its a small but versatile knife. I will be using it for skinning turkeys and small game and also for carving. Very good design and weight. Fits in my medium hand perfectly. I hope Thomas makes some more of the Trout series.
I’ve been wanting a chickpea for awhile now and I’m so glad I grabbed this one! The color is vibrant, the acid wash on the blade is just how I like it, and I love the small, useful size of the chickpea. I love a small fixed blade that will work as a pocket carry, and this little guy fits my hand and my pocket perfectly. I already used it for several small tasks the day I got it!
Excellent knife! One of my favorites….. except for the orange handles, I hate orange. That alone should tell you how much I love the knives T Nuge makes. My new edc and it’s a wood eating knife and makes lite work of any bushcraft/outdoor task you have.
