"Nugent executes his designs well by incorporating premium materials and exceptional fit and finish on every one of his knives. The Wicket family may currently reign as king in the Knives by Nuge lineup, but the sleek design and utilitarian performance of the Bruin and Cub may soon rise to the same level of prestige."

"The Cub is a good-size, pocket-style EDC. Perfect larger size pocket carry."

"The Wicket is a good looking combo. Tom does fantastic work. I love his stuff."

"No gimmicky thrills. Sturdy and reliable for decades–they are not just knives, but tools you can pass down to future generations. The ultimate choice for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship and functionality."

KBN represents the new generation of custom knifemakers. Tom is a very skilled knifemaker and designer who produces very practical blade styles and sheath systems. As part of his R & D team, I am privileged to help test his knives and offer feedback. I have been using Knives by Nuge for the past 2 years and wholeheartedly recommend them for every knife task from EDC to bushcraft and survival.

I’ve known Nuge since before he jumped into making full-time, and I couldn’t be happier for him. We first worked on an article for Knives Illustrated Magazine, and his craftsmanship is something that other companies could learn from. He’s a solid outdoorsman—we’ve even had some woods time together. I’ve got to say, I’m a big fan of his Chickpea, but honestly, there are so many awesome options to pick from. Crack on, KBN!

Best neck knife ever made? My wife said she'd leave me if I started wearing a neck knife. #worthit.

The Knives by Nuge Primitve is now my most carried neck knife of all time. I just constantly have this on. Even the jute rests nicely against the skin. I love Tom's work. His blades are awesome, wicked sharp and cut like razor, too.

I absolutely love my Knives by Nuge collection because they've completely changed my approach to outdoor pursuits, giving me a level of reliability and versatility. No matter which one I choose to carry each day, I know I have a knife I can fully trust that gives me a crucial edge in camp chores, hunting, and fishing, and the confidence to handle any demanding situation in the wilderness. The durability, ergonomics, and razor-sharp edge with outstanding retention cultivate an essential sense of trust in my gear, making every outdoor task an absolute joy to perform. The attention to detail and heirloom quality of each Nuge knife is something to appreciate for many years of use.
"His designs fuse playful charm with field-ready grit, offering tools that handle hard use without losing their sense of fun."

"I own every model KBN has ever made. Not because I’m a collector, but because I use them and that’s exactly what they’re built for. While some models overlap in what they can handle, each one is purpose-driven and designed with ergonomics in mind. KBN blades are straightforward, no-frills tools at their core, yet each is meticulously finished, razor sharp, and always ready for work. From field dressing game to camp chores or day-to-day tasks around the shop and ranch, a KBN knife has never left me wanting more."

"There's one guy on earth that does a jute wrap this good and that's Knives By Nuge. Tom's a great friend of mine. I love his Wicket!"
